NiPDi's Larry Nedrow Scholarships
Created by NiPDi's Board of Trustees to further educational development of students within the market served by NiPDi Contributing Contractors. These scholarships are offered on behalf of the industry to deserving individuals who demonstrate scholastic excellence, involvement in extra-curricular activities, leadership abilities, future plans and solid educational objectives.
NiPDi contractors in good standing are eligible to nominate one student for the scholarship each year. To nominate a student the contractor must complete a section of NiPDi's Official Scholarship Form and forward the form to the nominee. Former NiPDi Scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply in successive years..
Nominees must be full-time students enrolled at a certified junior college, college, university, vocational, technical or trade school for the applicable year. Each nominee must complete NiPDi's Official Scholarship Form and attach a current photo for promotional purposes. Nominees are expected to write a 500-word essay which lists their high school and community activities, family background, positions of leadership, honors received, employment experience, future plans and how these items have contributed to their overall educational objectives. Nominees may be requested to attend a personal interview.
The NiPDi Board of Trustees will screen all applications, select finalists, conduct any personal interviews, select scholarship recipients, and announce/publicize their decision in a manner determined by the Board. Scholarship recipient(s) must enroll in the school of his/her choice for the applicable academic year or forfeit the award.

The Board reserves the right to determine the number and value of scholarships and it is within their sole discretion to withdraw any or all scholarships any time prior to notification of same. Nothing herein shall be construed as an unconditional offer of a NiPDi Scholarship that must be accepted. Subject to the stated requirements, any individual shall be eligible to receive a NiPDi Scholarship except relatives or dependents of NiPDi Board members.
